TSE Türk Standartları Enstitüsü (TR)
A testing and certification organization determining the standards for goods, service and production valid in Turkey.

BSI British Standards Institutions (UK)
British Standards Institute that founded in 1901. It is an independent, non-profit organization which conducts testing and documentation.

ISO International Standards Organization (International)
International standards organization.

EN European Norms (EU)
Standards published by the CEN organization which is established by the European Union.

DIN Deutsches Institut Für Normung (Germany)
German technical standards foundation.

American National Standards Institute
American technical standards foundation.

The Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society
An association that produces standards for instrumentation and automation depending on ANSI.

ModBus
ModBus is a communication protocol developed by Modicon in 1979. It is used as open system protocol.

BACnet Testing Laboratories
BTL is a BACnet testing laboratory. It is an independent arm of BACnet International. It is founded for testing products and publishing list of producers/products that have BACnet capability.

BACnet Manufacturers Association
BACnet is a registered trademark of ASHRAE. ASHRAE does not control the conformity of products to the ASHRAE standard. It is the responsibility of the BACnet Manufacturers Association (BMA) to decide and confirm the compliance of products to the ASHRAE Standard 135. BTL is a registered trademark of BMA. BMA is the unity of the producers who prefer BACnet.

BACnet (Building Automation and Control Network)
It is an open system protocol of ASHRAE, that was developed by a committee of producers as well as end users, project designers and consultants. It standardizes communication between computer and field controllers; models all items of software and hardware as data structures defined as "objects". It is the most common integration method used all over the world.

OLE (Object Linking Embedding) for Process Control
Functionality used in integrations. Since it does not have a hardware structure, only software based (it needs a computer to run the software) so it is cheaper and more practical than other standard protocols used for integration.

LonWorks (Local Operating Network Technology)
It is a technology produced by Echelon company. The name of the technology is Lonworks, the communication protocol is LonTalk. It is one of the widely used open system protocols at field level.
